All right, you guys. I've decided that I'm not going to post any more of my story online. I will more than likely delete what is on here in the next 48 hours. I feel like I've already posted too much, and I'm worried that what has been shown here is now lost to any kind of publishing. I really appreciate all the people who have read and given me feedback. You've been very encouraging and helpful. Thank you!

As all of us Write-Offers know, the project 007-WriteOff seems to have, slowly, fallen further and further behind in updates and motivation. None of us knew what would become of it. BUT WAIT! We now have new staff, energetic motivation and so much inspiration we're not even sure what to do with it.

So here's the deal: January is a new month, and a new year, to start over from scratch and remember what Write-Off is ALL about.

And in good ol' Write-Off spirit, we're kicking off the new year with a brand spankin' new competition. Want more information on entering and prizes? Check out the home page.

Now come on, you WriteOffers, you. Show us what you're made of.

Are you IN for January?

Love and be loved,
BA

Lol. I understand what your saying.
I probably should look up the lyrics...translated lyrics anyway lol. And it is a bit exhausting to do it all the time.

Hm... yet getting our minds off of things is sometimes how we make it through the day. Eventually you have to deal with things head-on, but it's exhausting if you do that all the time. It's good that you've found a show you like.

The thing about music is that often the right lyrics can describe your life to a T. They can be an inspiration, too. Beautiful sounds can enrich the spirit. They give more color to the world.

I am not a hippy.

Haven't tried Bleach yet, I want to read the manga for that
Found the manga is much more descriptive and explanitive
I am hooked on Naruto, but like I said, so are like a billion other people. I'm no rebel, but I don't understand it either. I just like it because it sounds cool. It doesn't really make me feel better, it just gets my mind off of myself, which is nice, but anime does that for me too
I just don't want to get lost and forget I have issues like I do a lot...*stares at glass sprite bottle with bent cap sitting on emotional baggage*

Well, we're all human. Like art and literature, music is a universal element of humanity. I doesn't matter if other people love it, too (which is something my sister, the rebel, doesn't quite understand). It's about identifying with something.

I'm basically in love with Coldplay and Imogen Heap. As for anime, I'm hooked on Bleach at the moment.

I'm glad it's helping!

A few months back, I thought I was going somewhere with Queen. But now, with the anime I am watching, every season has 2 different Japanese Pop and Rock songs in the intro and ending
Its helping a little, and I discovered it yesterday *made it my profile songs for myspace and facebook lol*
But I can't understand much of it, even though I learned a little Japanese from watching so many subtitles *i'm not lying, its true*, but I think its very beautiful and I appreciate, but then thats comparing myself with like a billion people with a different culture and life style to me

I know it sucks to hear it (because for me, it was the most frustrating thing in the world to hear people say), but all that comes with time. Remember, at some point the glass is half full.

I recommend starting with finding what music you love. Seriously, I found Imogen Heap, and my life changed. It's about learning what you like. In appreciating something you find beautiful, you recognize it takes a beautiful person to appreciate it.

I wish I could do that
First I have to figure out whats good about me, so far, I know only the half of whats bad

A great deal can happen in two years, especially when you spend them trying to learn who you are and what you want from life. It takes a lot of self-reflection. Focus on the good about yourself. It's like buying clothes: wear the personality that accentuates your best assets (and not necessarily your ass, heh).

We sound a lot like each other
I wish I could help others like you though, and you seem to have a lot more experience than I do, in 2 years even

Hey, it's not a problem. Sometimes I've cried myself to sleep feeling lower than dirt for every imaginable reason: my weight, my looks, my talents (or lack thereof), my inability to make friends (or keep them), my lack of social skills, my feeling selfish for expecting people to know how to treat me when I know so well how to treat them. The list goes on. In short, I know in part how you feel. And helping you is the least I can do.

Oh, that sounds great! Don't worry much about it, though. This thing is coming along so slowly, and I think once I start school again there will be quite a break in the regular submission of things. So it goes.

I hope you're having a good one! Relax. And, you know, come back.

It could be any number of things, I'm sure. I guess writing clubs take more effort because reading takes so much more time than commenting on art.

I noticed you posted some writing for today (which I will be reading when I wake up tomorrow morning). Is July going to be your month?

Yep, I'm a new member for the WriteOff group.

I don't know why they are inactive now, maybe they're taking a vacation...

Thanks so much! Actually, I just created this account for my novel. I've been on DA for practically three years as ~catbat88. It's really nice of you to offer help, though. I sure would have needed your help when I first started poking around on here. It can be pretty complicated. :)
